Intermediate diploid, top variety with very homogenous yield ratings over the season, showing that Boyne has an evenly distributed and quite stable high yield throughout the year.
Evidence for high persistency is shown by the remarkable fact that yield increased over the three testing years in Germany from 104-107-112 relative to controls.
Resistance
Together with its high yield, Boyne also shows fine rust resistance.
